Daily Bangla Times: A court here placed eight people on a five-day remand in a case filed over the snatching of around Tk 11.25 crore of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) in Dhaka's Uttara.
Dhaka Metropolitan magistrate Shanta Islam Mallil passed the order on Sunday (March 12).
The accused are – Akash, Imon alias Milon, Sagar Matubbar, Enamul Haque Badsha, Sanowar Hossain, Badrul Alam, Mizanur Rahman, and Sona Mia.
Earlier, DB police Mirpur zonal team inspector Saju Mia produced before the court seeking 10 days remand.
On February 10, about Tk 11.25 crore was robbed from a vehicle carrying Dutch-Bangla Bank's money from Uttara area.
