The former prime minister, in a wheelchair, said this pointing at Anti-Corruption Commission prosecutor Mohsharraf Hossain Kajol in reply to his query just before the hearing on her indictment in Niko graft case filed during the 2007-08 military-backed interim regime.
She also spoke to BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. She told Fakhrul that physicians visited her but her health was not going well.
In the midst of the conversation, special judges’ court 9 judge Sheikh Hafizur Rahman arrived in the packed makeshift courtroom inside the old Dhaka Central Jail, where the former prime minister was sent being jailed in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case on February 8, 2018.
The court on the day adjourned the proceedings until March 19.
