Announcing the manifesto at the National Press Club, party amir Syed Mohammad Rezaul Karim, also known as pir of Charmonai, pledged to bring about qualitative changes in politics, establish rule of justice and eliminate corruption and violence.
The 33-point election manifesto prioritised 16 programmes, including harmonising politics and religion for overall welfare of the people, banning people involved in corruption, murder and violence from politics, making parliament effective, ensuring freedom of expression and press, ensuring road safety, establishing equal
rights for women and nationalising all educational institutions.
About agriculture and industry, the party chief said that the sectors would be revolutionised to build a prosperous country creating jobs for unemployed youths and eradicating poverty from Bangladesh.
The party pledged to put an end to murder, enforced disappearance, oppression, misrule and filing of false and fictitious cases.
Among others party presidium member Moktar Hossain, secretary general Moulana Yunus Ahmad, political adviser Ashraf Aki Akand, joint secretaries general Mahabubur Rahman and Moulana Gazi Ataur Rahman were present.
