Daily Bangla Times: Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said that there will be no scope to travel by train without tickets. The Minister said this after visiting Kamalapur Railway Station on Sunday (April 16) afternoon.

He said that the so-called passengers without tickets will have no chance to travel by train. Every passenger will be allowed to enter the station by showing the ticket. Dhaka-bound trains will not stay at the airport railway station to stop the entry of passengers without tickets.

He said, our efforts will continue to make the Eid journey safe. Railway employees will not have holidays so that people can spend Eid holidays happily with their families. Eid leave cannot be enjoyed by railway employees to make the Eid journey pleasant for the passengers.

Regarding the schedule disaster, the minister said what is going on now cannot be called a schedule disaster. However, if the train runs on one track, then if there is an accident, the schedule becomes problematic.

The Railway Minister said separate monitoring cells will be formed in the divisional and zonal control to provide emergency duty to the officials to ensure the safe and orderly operation of the train and to ensure punctuality in providing passenger services. Train operations will be conducted under the supervision of officers and inspectors at various critical and junction stations and signal cabins to ensure punctuality. Railway patrolling will be arranged to prevent accidents and maintain train schedule.

Eid journey by train will start from Monday. Regarding the overall preparation, the minister said, our preparations have been completed 100 percent. This is the first time that 100% tickets have been sold online. Passengers can enter the station by showing the ticket. Standing tickets will be issued on the day of departure. About 45,000 passengers will leave Dhaka every day by the intercity train (seat) tickets and standing (standing) tickets.
